About Simone

After graduating from UCT, Simone completed her community service in the Western Cape. Thereafter, she worked in Johannesburg at schools for children with special needs, including those on the autistic spectrum.

This is where she confirmed her passion for working with children. Upon returning to Cape Town, she started her journey of working in paediatric private practice.

She believes in working alongside parents and a multidisciplinary team to help each child build firm foundations to work from so that they can reach their full potential and achieve success in all areas of their lives. She is passionate about helping children build their self-esteem and confidence, so that they are able to overcome their challenges.

She has a keen interest in working with children who have sensory processing and learning difficulties and is in the process of completing her certification in sensory integration.

What her OT360 colleagues say about her:

Simone has a supportive and fun approach to therapy. She is warm, patient and connects well with children.
