About Simone

After graduating from UCT, Simone completed her community service in the Western Cape. Thereafter, she worked in Johannesburg at schools for children with special needs, including those on the autistic spectrum.

This is where she confirmed her passion for working with children. Upon returning to Cape Town, she continued to work in paediatric private practice. She has extensive experience working with children with developmental delays, barriers to learning and sensory integration difficulties. Simone obtained her Ayres Sensory Integration® Certification and is an Interactive Metronome Provider.

She believes in working alongside parents and a multidisciplinary team to help each child build firm foundations to work from so that they can reach their full potential and achieve success in all areas of their lives. She is passionate about helping children build their self-esteem and confidence through cultivating a safe and playful space for them to overcome their challenges.

She has a keen interest in working with children who have sensory processing and learning difficulties.
