About Nina

Nina’s journey with Occupational Therapy started at Stellenbosch University, where she found her passion for the profession.

Nina established her own paediatrics private practiced, where she serviced schools in Grahamstown. She worked with a wide range of diagnoses such as Autistic Spectrum disorder, ADHD/ADD and general developmental challenges. There she witnessed the influence of occupational therapy on development and the importance of early intervention for greater outcomes.

Nina also has years of experiences in mental health, where she worked in the private and government sectors. During this time, she facilitated creative therapy groups, ran psychoeducation programs and assisted individuals in returning to work.

Nina is particularly passionate about addressing functional challenges and barriers to learning, leveraging evidence-based practices to unlock each individual's potential.

Nina has completed the introductory course for DIR®️ Floortime, she is also a qualified Yoga Therapist. Currently she is in the process of completing her Ayres Sensory Integration®️ certification.
