About Celina

Clinical Director

It was a desire to offer a creative, holistic approach to clients that drew Celina to occupational therapy. After graduating from UCT, she initially worked in psychiatry and then with an international pharmaceutical company before deciding to specialise in paediatrics.

Celina has many years’ experience of working with children and their families. She has a Sensory Integration Certification, is a Tomatis Level 2 practitioner and an Interactive Metronome (IM) and basic DIR Floortime service provider.

Celina is passionate about life and learning. She has a special interest in sensory-processing disorders and learning difficulties and in finding ways to overcome barriers to optimal functioning in children and adults. She believes in empowering her team of occupational therapists by encouraging them to make use of a variety of tools and approaches focused on problem solving and solutions. For Celina, team work is key.
